U.S. stocks

This week I cleaned up my portfolio. I took a loss on Nike (NKE), and it feels good to have that behind me. I want to stop buying stocks just because they have already fallen a lot.

The latter half of the week saw a big drop. I wonder where AI investment is heading. Most of my portfolio is in AI-related stocks, so I am worried. I hope things recover next week.

For now, it looks like I will be watching how things develop and averaging down along the way.

Japanese stocks

In Japanese stocks, I took profits on ITOCHU Corporation (8001). It is nice when a stock rises this smoothly. I also bought JX Advanced Metals (5016) and Shin-Etsu Chemical (4063).

But maybe leaning into AI-related stocks at a time like this was a mistake. I should have paid more attention to the broader trends when choosing stocks. AI is still going to be okay, right? All I can do now is hope.

Next week I will watch Sony Group (6758) and look for an opportunity to enter.
