U.S. stocks

Another weak week. September has been pretty rough for the portfolio so far. At least Friday finally finished in the green, so there was a little bit of relief.

I would like to see a rebound next week, but it still feels hard to get too optimistic while rates are unsettled.

For next week I am watching RTX Corporation (RTX) around $185, S&P Global (SPGI) around $400, AppLovin (APP) around $290, Apple (AAPL) around $290, and Procter & Gamble (PG) around $135.

Japanese stocks

Every Japanese stock I hold ended up in the red this week. When they all line up like that, I have to wonder if my entry timing was just bad.

Still, if they fall a lot more, I can add and bring the average cost down.

The yen weakness seems to have eased a little, but I have no idea where the exchange rate goes from here. I would personally love to see USD/JPY back around 130, though that does not look easy right now.

Next week I am watching Daikin Industries (6367) around ¥20,000, Tokio Marine Holdings (8766) around ¥7,500, Shin-Etsu Chemical (4063) around ¥5,600, Daiichi Sankyo (4568) around ¥2,450, Sony Group (6758) around ¥3,300, and HOYA (7741) around ¥21,000.
