U.S. stocks

Higher rates and a weaker yen made this a pretty rough week for the portfolio. I sold one share each of Microsoft (MSFT) and Apple (AAPL) to lighten things up a bit, but down days are still not much fun.

If Microsoft (MSFT) or Apple (AAPL) fall further, I would be happy to buy them back at lower prices.

Next week I am watching The Home Depot (HD) around $315 and RTX Corporation (RTX) around $195.

Japanese stocks

Japanese stocks fell too, but the positions are still small, so I am not too bothered by it. If anything, a little more downside would make them easier to buy.

Starting next week I want to try some swing trading with around ¥300,000. ENEOS Holdings (5020) and Mizuho Leasing (8425) are the first candidates, with ¥1,350 or so as the level I am watching for both.

I am also interested in FUJIFILM Holdings (4901) around ¥3,200 and Sony Group (6758) around ¥3,900.
